Packaging Price already had a Magento site but struggled with poorly configured APIs and intricate site architecture. They were frustrated because it seemed every time they updated one part of their site, another area of the site was negatively impacted.
On top of that, the previous website shopping experience was not intuitive, leading to customer confusion when adding items to the shopping cart, choosing shipping options, and checking out. Customers weren’t sure how to qualify for free shipping or how to opt for local pickup, and there was a lack of communication post-sale. The limited integration with Packaging Price’s fulfillment partner also made it difficult to notify customers that an order was delayed or back-ordered.
