How we handle the personal data you send us when you apply for a role through ironplane.com or send an open application.
IronPlane, LLC, PO Box 5019, Portland, Maine 04101, USA, is responsible for applications sent through this site. For anything about your data, write to privacy@ironplane.com.
What you give us in the application form and your CV: your name, email address, location, LinkedIn profile, the role you're applying for, your CV and any note you add. Please leave sensitive information, such as health or religion, out of your CV.
If you live in the European Union or the UK, the legal bases are: steps you asked us to take before a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) for the recruitment itself; your consent (Article 6(1)(a)) for keeping your application on file and for any information you add beyond what we ask; and our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)) for questions and claims.
Until the recruitment ends, and then for up to 3 months in case of questions or claims. If you agree to be considered for future roles, for 12 months from your application or until you withdraw that agreement, whichever comes first.
Our head of HR, who works for our subsidiary Snowdog in PoznaΕ, Poland, screens every application. After that, the people involved depend on the role and can come from any part of IronPlane or Snowdog. If we offer you a role, the contract is with IPGS, IronPlane's wholly owned US subsidiary, and we share the details needed for that contract with it. Applications are kept in one CRM, Pipedrive, which all our companies use. Our service providers also process your data on our behalf, under contract: Pipedrive, which hosts the CRM and the application form, and our email and file storage providers. Your data is stored and accessed in the United States and the European Union.
You can ask to see your data, get a copy, correct it, have it deleted or limit how we use it, and you can withdraw your consent at any time without affecting what we did before. Write to privacy@ironplane.com. If you live somewhere with a data protection law, such as the EU, the UK or Brazil, you also have the rights that law gives you, including complaining to your local data protection authority. In Poland that is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes UrzΔdu Ochrony Danych Osobowych), Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw.
No, but without your contact details and CV we can't consider your application. We don't make hiring decisions by automated means, and we don't profile applicants.
