The Technical Writer role is responsible for developing and delivering agency marketing content to achieve targeted marketing goals. Content development will focus on core SEO principles of E-E-A-T with a balance of higher volume content produced quickly and more specialized content with longer lead times.

As IronPlane's technical writer, you will be expected to produce blog content, landing page content, and LinkedIn posts on topics related to eCommerce. Content will often include technical topics that require experience in the eCommerce field and/or research to ensure accurate information and terminologies. The ideal candidate will have strong technical writing skills and experience with LinkedIn management.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Engagement team on content strategy and SEO optimization
  • Write content for blog, landing pages, LinkedIn posts and other platforms as needed
  • Identify insights and opportunities from website, LinkedIn, and SEMRush
  • Track and report on content development and delivery results
  • Work with internal teams to support content campaigns
  • Stay up-to-date on content marketing trends and best practices
  • Manage LinkedIn company page and profile
  • Interact with industry influencers, partners, customers and prospects on LinkedIn

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in technical writing for an agency
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Self-motivated and able to meet deadlines
  • Experience with LinkedIn management
  • Experience with SEO, and website analytics
  • Prior experience in the eCommerce space is strongly preferred
  • Experience with SEMRush, AHrefs or similar tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with/keen interest in generative AI for content creation
