Summary

IronPlane is a digital agency dedicated to the design, development, and support of eCommerce technologies. We build and manage websites on the Adobe Commerce (Magento) and BigCommerce platforms. Our agency has aggressive growth goals for the coming year, and we are hiring an Agency Marketing Specialist. We operate a virtual office with a staff of experienced professionals who maintain a strong team environment with a dedication to client success. This position reports to the Director of Engagement.

Position Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience working in eCommerce agency marketing, creating digital content for target audience attraction, engagement, and conversion
  • Experience proofreading, editing, and drafting blog and landing page content on relatively technical subjects such as eCommerce best practices
  • Experience editing video content using common editing software (e.g. Adobe Premiere, Davinci Resolve, Final Cut, etc...)
  • Self-driven contributor with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and achieve defined goals
  • Experience applying basic project management skills for self-directed projects, specifically in short and long-term planning, prioritization, task management, and project communication
  • Experience managing B2B Social Media channels including Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Twitter
  • Exposure to and understanding of the eCommerce technology space

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team members to design short- and long-term content marketing initiatives
  • Oversee implementation of marketing plans for on-time delivery of initiatives and escalate as appropriate
  • Proofread, edit, and, in some cases, draft blog and landing page content on subjects such as eCommerce technologies
  • Edit video content using common editing software (e.g. Adobe Premiere, Davinci Resolve, Final Cut, etc…)
  • Create content snippets from written and video content to be more conducive to engagement on various channels
  • Clearly communicate to the team project objectives, task ownership, timelines, and quality expectations
  • Generate branded assets such as graphics, text overlays, and copy for use on our website, sales documents, and video content
  • Manage Social Media channels including Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Twitter
  • Enforce brand voice, tone, and style across all content and channels
  • Embrace an environment of collaboration and healthy open communication.
  • Identify and propose new marketing opportunities appropriate for the brand
